Megan Foxxx

I think Megan Fox might be turning me into a lesbian. I actually want to marry her.

The Parlour

So today has been extremely unproductive. In fact I think thats an understatement, I havent even left the house. But I have watched 2 films, various tv programmes and consumed half a cold pizza. And I have done zero work. However I am proud of one little accomplishment. Today I purchased the sweetest, cutest necklace in world. I think you will have to agree with me...

Its from The Parlour, and it cost me a mere £7.99. Which I think might actually be cheaper than some of Topshop's shittier necklaces. There are tons of other gems that I could show you but I'll let you look for yourself...

So today I have done no work at all, but I have spoilt myself with a dainty little necklace so I'm happy :)

Charlotte Taylor

Apologies for severe lack of postage. My head has been rather empty of ideas and instead full of christmas colour schemes, boyfriend, uni work (or lack thereof), boyfriend, snow-days, boyfriend, various drinking occasions in various establishments/houses/cities...boyfriend?
But anyway I'm back in work-mode as I'm ploughing ahead with my report, although I'm still at home due to adverse weather conditions, I'm sitting at the laptop typing away whilst the boy is busy playing call of duties for hours on end..

So during my research I came across a blog by a fresh new designer called Charlotte Taylor. She is going to be launching her brand new self-titled label at London Fashion Week with her debut A/W10 collection. Her blog documents her progress from the very beginning, through deciding on colour palettes and material swatches, and dealing with overseas suppliers. Even though I'm not going into fashion design myself this little look into the beginnings of a fashion label is fascinating and extremely insightful. Charlotte herself is down-to-earth, a good writer, and actually pretty funny - I keep laughing outloud at some of her antics which results in a confused look from the boy. She also looks like she will be quite a talented designer going from her final collection at Central St Martins. So I am definately keeping an eye on her, I've steadily been reading my way through her blog which you can find here: http://charlotte-taylor.blogspot.com/. She also has a facebook page which is here: http://www.facebook.com/charlottetaylor2009?v=wall#/charlottetaylor2009?v=wall Other followers of her include Susie Bubble and the guys/girls at the Topshop blog.

So watch out for Charlotte Taylor in the future for designs inspired by grannies, bird ladies and penguins... what else could you possibly ask for!? She's my kind of designer - one with a sense of humour.
